RIP NFT Inspect
NFT Inspect is a platform that showcases the “best” of NFT communities by providing data on the people who rock them as a PFP.
it showcases the top community members with the largest following, highest reach, and more…
(don’t look now, but I’m the #1 “most followed by the community” for Cool Cats)
while the platform has been criticized for showing too many empty “influencer” stats, it did provide really unique and cool data for different communities.
…which made understanding a community you’re about to jump into *slightly* easier.
so it’s an unfortunate blow to the NFT space knowing that nftinspect.xyz will be no longer after January 17.
luckily, the outpour of support gives us some hope. in fact, Wab and the Sappy Seals team immediately showed interest in *buying* the platform to incorporate it into their growing suite of SaaS products.
time will tell if this gem of a tool can be saved.

CoffeeZilla, Logan Paul, and CryptoZoo
I try *really* hard to not make BivNFT an NFT gossip rag.
(though let’s be clear…I absolutely could with all the drama in the space)
so it brings me no pleasure to talk about Logan Paul…someone who people *love* to talk about (despite the reasons being unclear).
yesterday a video from the YouTuber Coffeezilla put the famous Vine star (I’m old, get over it) on blast…in particular his association with the project “CrytpoZoo”.
to call it a “project” is nice…as it was really a rug orchestrated by Logan and team of less than questionable characters. this brought the project back into the public spotlight and in classic fashion, *didn’t* cause people to dump their empty CryptoZoo eggs…oh quite the contrary.
in fact, sales went up 1000% and shot up to .22 ETH at one point (it’s back down to .14 ETH as I write this).
and guess what?! the eggs from CryptoZoo will now finally be revealed…in 2023 or 2024. funny how that works out…

speaking of rugs, I also regret to inform you that I have *more* rug news today.
(just when you thought the space was turning legit too, I bet)
DNP3 is the founder of a project called ‘The Goobers’. out of the blue, he tweeted simply that he was “sorry” (you can read the founder’s apology here).
the contents of the apology are pretty wild. DNP3 apparently is a gambler who (shocker) used all of the funds accumulated from the project to feed that addiction.
he claims he is now broke, but even if he isn’t, he’s likely drawn enough attention to himself to land in jail soon.
either way, you could have expected what happened to the Goobers (not to be confused with Goblers). however, the price floor didn’t plummet *all* the way to zero yet. it simply halved from around .02 to .01 ETH.
(who would have thought that this project wasn’t thriving with a founder like DNP3?)
I simply hope at this point that the community can keep this project afloat for all the holders’ sakes. and luckily, it’s already shown some good resilience.

it’s no secret to anyone following NFTs that the Pudgy Penguins have been flying ever since December of last year. even their secondary collections have gotten in on the fun. the Lil Pudgys and the infamous Rogs have not been immune to the pumps either.
in fact, Pudgy Rods aka Rogs sit at a .765 ETH price floor right now and have surely flipped *your* favorite project…how does that make you feel?
and these prices have sent a lot of people searching for the “next” Pudgy Penguins. in that they want an established PFP project that’s also kinda cute.
where should you look next if you aren’t going to fade this surge? take a look at frogs.
while not exactly cute (FWIW, I don’t find the Sappy Seals to be all that ‘cute’ either), we have two sets of frog projects kinda ripping right now:
