⚓️ the PPL seem to like QQL
gm.
is anyone still here?
if you’re reading this, obviously you’re still here. as am I. Biv, on the other hand, is moving this week so I, subvert, am filling in for a few days. you can call me sub.
anyways, with all the pleasantries out of the way…
ALPHA⚓️
it says a lot about the little bubble that we’re living in that even in such a rough global economic market, Tyler Hobbs sold out his new generative art collection QQL at a final price of 14 ETH each. in case you didn’t know about the global economy…
not to mention, natural disasters in Florida as well…
(hope everyone out there is staying safe!)
on one hand, congratulations to Tyler Hobbs and Dandelion on the smooth (and incredibly lucrative) mint — raising a total of 12600 ETH then doing a whopping 3099 ETH on secondary as of writing.
one question that’s been brought up though, is royalties — I don’t remember any high profile mints (on ETH) blocking specific marketplaces (in this case, X2Y2). of course, this discussion happened on SOL a few weeks ago; check out yesterday’s newsletter for a bit more context.
here’s X2Y2’s response:
check the replies below the thread for a great discussion involving a lot of brilliant minds. personally, I believe that each prominent NFT project will end up with its own marketplace… but that’s just me.
(also, who the heck named X2Y2? they definitely need some help rebranding.)
BETA⚓️
apart from QQL, the project that has been getting a lot of traction recently is Renga.
apart from the fabulous art from @DirtyRobotWorks, the gamification between revealing the characters and keeping them in black boxes has generally been well-received by minters.
definitely keeping an eye on them and the fantastic, vibrant world that they’re building.
DELTA⚓️
some quick Cat-related news:
$GANG is imminent. the official Twitter account is @gangcoin_ , so Gutter members, keep an eye out! delays always suck, but it’s better to launch it right than launch it prematurely. if you’ve seen the Gutter Clone artwork, you’ll know that this is a capable project team.

I’ve ordered 3 sweaters and 3 plushes, along with a tonnnnnn of new sweatshirts. I have no idea why I need so many apart from the fact that WE LIKE THE CATS!
well - that’s all for the NFT stuff, folks.
in personal news though, I acquired a second-hand typewriter yesterday. it’s been a very nice investment for just under 40USD — really gets the writing groove going and helps the thoughts just free-associate on the page. can’t wait for the weekend so I can just sit around and be moody with it.
if you’re interested in some of my own native content, I’ll probably be publishing something this weekend entitled Web Wars: The Bigtech Strikes Back on my own newsletter, substance. click the banner below to subscribe to that.
I’m always on Twitter @subvert_nft if you wanna find me. give me a shout whenever!
until next time,
